After two decades of remarkable contributions to our history, between 1998 and 2018, Augusto returns to Machado Associados, bringing with him extensive experience and deep knowledge to continue driving the development and excellence of our firm.
Augusto holds a law degree from Bandeirantes University and a degree in accounting from São Francisco University. He also has a specialization in Tax Law from the Brazilian Institute of Tax Studies (IBET).
With over 30 years of experience in tax consultancy for both individuals and legal entities, domestic and international, he is recognized for his ethics, attention to detail, and solid accounting expertise. He has assisted companies from the telecommunications, mining, chemical, retail, technology, transportation, agribusiness, logistics, and service sectors.
He was a tax partner for over 16 years at a full-service law firm, worked for 10 years in external and internal audits, and served as a fiscal council member in business groups from the commerce and education sectors, performing roles in accordance with corporate law regulations.
In addition, he was a guest lecturer at Trevisan Business School for six years, teaching courses on income taxation and tax incentives, and was a speaker at events organized by the Regional Accounting Council for three years, focusing on the same topics.
